A Client in the Real World | AnnMarie Part 4
Before I started this client makeover series, I reached out to AnnMarie to find out how her style is now, today. She was all to happy to share photos and I love seeing her out in the "real world" in the real world items that we bought. Some of them I found for her, but others she found for herself, empowered by her wardrobe action plan and mood board and the results are a super confident, amazingly dressed, no-more "nothing to wear" AnnMarie.
“On this day I had general life errands to run, a short work meeting at Ellwoods for lunchtime, this photo shoot late afternoon then hanging at the studio for a bit while the 530pm class arrived, then happy hour with friends. Black skinny jeans, great striped shirt, Tom’s wedges and blue all around. This outfit covered my ENTIRE life in one day. It was crisp, clean, and polished. ”
The blue dress on the left was found at H&M for $42 - can you believe it? Not only is it a gorgeous color, it looks AMAZING on. I love how fitted it is in the waist. AnnMarie wore this to a friend's wedding and paired it with the black/white heels in the text photo above, both items I found especially for her.
The black dress on the right is one AnnMarie picked out after our sessions and it's perfect for dressed up occasions, but she can also wear it toned down with a jean jacket and boots.
“I wore this all of fall! I got a great pair of burgundy chuck tailors, dark wash jean, lighter denim shirt and a black vest. This was at The Folk Festival. But I also wear it for life errands, a quick lunch with a friend, a studio supply run and stopping by the studio. It was not spandex or running shoes, or a sweatshirt! ”
When you look good, you feel good - and it shows!! This is one of AnnMarie's favorite dresses, inspired after our sessions together. She has worn this for a day at the bay, work meetings, happy hours, shopping AND dates. Talk about versatile!
Candid poses are always better than posed right? This is AnnMarie, post-pose in all her candid glory. She's wearing her favorite Chucks (that maroon color though, so good!), skinny jeans from Madewell, striped button down under a sweater and vest. Perfect for a day at that included a dentist trip, life errands, and drinks at the new Stone Brewing facility in Richmond. Everything worked together seamlessly for one great outfit to cover every aspect of her day.
