Beauty in Bloom

If you've been following for a while, you know every now and then I like to share a few beauty products with you all through my partnership with Elements Beauty Shop, a woman-owned, retail and e-commerce small business located in Richmond, Virginia that offers luxury and natural beauty brands from around the world. The owners have exposed me to so many amazing beauty products and everyone from my mother, to best friend, to mother-in-law have been (blessed!) to receive products from Elements. I keep coming back to Elements for my beauty needs because they are local, avoid products that use animal-testing, and they know what I like/what my budget is when making recommendations. Also - the loyalty points! Any time you buy a product from Elements, you can review that product on their website and rack up some major dollars that you can then put towards more products.

While I tend to stay with some of the lower priced lines (albeit still all natural and great products), I have begun to become interested in some of the luxury products. I whole heartedly abscribe to the "buy the best quality that you can afford for your budget" mentality, but I also know that higher quality products often result in higher quality results (if it's true for clothes, then it's true for beauty!). Enter: Erno Laszlo.

Good old Wikipedia tells us that Ernő László was a Hungarian-born American dermatologist and cosmetic businessman who founded The Ernő László Institute. He achieved fame when he created a special foundation cream for Princess Stephanie of Belgium who lost her self confidence due to an acute case of acne. His reputation was further solidified after he treated actress Frida Gombaszoegi's facial scars after being shot in the face by a m an she rejected. Soon, women from all ranks of society wanted to see  László for skin and make-up advice.

Well. If it's good enough for princesses and actresses...! Elements Beauty Shop has been selling these products for a while and women rave about them. From their website: The Ernő László twice-a-day skin care regimen is customized for your unique skin personality. By following four simple steps, László's innovative products will cleanse and exfoliate while replenishing and restoring your skin.

Elements was kind enough to send the above ADORABLE mini László products and I'll be putting them to the test between now and April 18. I will let you know if I get the promised "László glow"!

Elements Beauty Shop Products I Love

These are the three products that I keep coming back to at Elements.

One - LATHER Advanced Blemish Control System - this stuff is hands down the best blemish serum I've tried. It's $28 for the bottle, but it lasts a life time. Within a day after applying at even the faintest notion of a blemish, I can tell the blemish is going away. I can use a lot before it will begin drying out my face and it even smells nice - peppermint and tea tree!

Two - Jack Black Face Buff Energizing Scrub - technically this is Andrew's (my husband) but I use it at least three times a week. This scrub is so refreshing (more peppermint) and Andrew loves it because it helps keep his skin from becoming too oily.

Three - Kneipp Arnica Joint & Muscle Mineral Bath Salt  - one of our favorite products, we both use this regularly to combat back pains (him) and sore/tight muscles (me). Just a 15 minute soak will produce a noticeable difference!

Local to Richmond? Give yourself the night off and come to Element's Beauty in Bloom event! Julie Ann Glazer, a rep fro Erno Laszlo, will be coming in from NYC and she'll have a ton of freebies and will be able to help you identify which products from the brand work with your skin type as well as answer general skincare questions. There will be refreshments, fun shopping, and your favorite bloggers (wink wink)!
