January 2016 Reads
For as long as I can remember I have loved reading. It could be due to my time as a homeschooler (AKA 4th grade to high school graduation), but I think in part it has a lot to do with my personality. I can easily be lost in a book for hours with its fictional characters but just as much, I love learning something, anything, new. I started my READS series a few months ago (you can read my posts here, here and here) and I'm jumping into 2016 with a huge goal - read and track as many books as I can - hopefully somewhere in the 100 range. I was inspired by the article, "I read 164 books in 2015 and I tracked them all," an article on Vox by Amy McCay Patterson. Each month I'll share what I've been reading in a short format. I keep a READS board on Pinterest, so be sure to check there to see what's on my long list. On to January's reads!
