Episode 24: What’s In Your Styling Kit?

Any great personal stylist knows they need a styling KIT. But there are different types of kits depending on the job you’re doing or how you’re working with your clients, and you may not be sure exactly what needs to go into your PERSONAL styling kit. Especially now that we’re mostly virtual. This week’s podcast builds the case for having a kit (even if it’s small!) even in our virtual world.

One of the best things about being a stylist is there really isn’t a lot of business overhead (depending on how your services are structured and what software / systems you use of course). And there are some differences between what you need in a kit for in-person and virtual services, but regardless whether you’re with clients or helping them through the screen, this knowledge of what you need to do your job will help you guide your clients in virtual settings.

So, let’s break down exactly what should be in your personal styling kit along with some extras. At the end of this episode I’ll link you to a free styling kit download that you can grab!
